…we’re taking a break.
And that’s all it is – a break. A chance to catch our breath. A short pause in service.
2023 was a massive year for Pro Detailer Magazine. We’re in more countries than ever, demand is huge, and we have more places to visit than time available, but we’ve started to notice a trend creeping in. Things get a bit repetitive after so long and you start to lose focus and enthusiam for doing the thing you love.
Writing, researching, editing and producing what we think is an epic magazine, even only twice a year, is a mammoth task for a team of two – even with some fantastic contributors.
Add into that a list of other projects – like a second book – which we’ve been putting off due to time constraints, a massive flood in the office last year, and soaring production costs diminishing returns on the effort it takes to produce the format we’ve worked on since issue 11, we’ve decided we’re going to step away from the desks for 12 months and return in 2025 with a fresh outlook, some updated formatting and a better magazine than ever before.
If you’re a subscriber – we’ll be placing hold on any subscriptions and you’ll be sent a notice next year to decide if you want to restart it when we come back, so you don’t need to do anything for now.
Thanks to everyone who has been following us so far, and all the support and feedback we get. We’re still going to be working – with another podcast series coming out in late spring, a new book and some digital content all lined up – but for magazine, you’ll just have to wait until 2025 for your next fix.
